StoreCompliant for Shopify (in development)

A Shopify version of StoreCompliant is in development. It is not available yet and there is no Shopify listing. This page says what it will do, and what the three EU display rules mean for a Shopify product page today.

One email when it is ready. Nothing else, and no date promised.

What it will do

The same three features on Shopify

The aim is the same as on Wix: help a Shopify shop display three things and keep the records. We give no date for it.

In force since 28 May 2022

30-day lowest price

Under every discounted price, the lowest price of the 30 days before the discount — worked out for each variant and shown in the shopper’s language.

Omnibus Directive

How the app handles it

Applies from 27 September 2026

Legal guarantee notice

The EU’s own harmonised notice on the legal guarantee, unchanged and in the shopper’s language: a link, a compact card or the notice itself under the price.

Directive (EU) 2024/825

How the app handles it

Applies from 19 June 2026

Withdrawal button

A “withdraw from contract here” button on every page, a two-step form, a dated confirmation email and a log of every request.

What the three rules mean on a Shopify product page

You can act on these without any app. They are the rules the Shopify version is being built around.

Compare-at price and the 30-day figure

In Shopify the crossed-out price is the compare-at price. When you announce a reduction, the rule asks you to indicate the lowest price you applied in the 30 days before it. That is not the same as the compare-at price you typed in, and it can differ for each variant.

The legal guarantee notice

From 27 September 2026, shops selling goods to EU consumers have to show a harmonised notice about the legal guarantee. It has an official design and wording, so it should be shown as published, near where the shopper buys.

The withdrawal function

From 19 June 2026, a shop that sells online has to offer a “withdraw from contract here” function, easy to find throughout the withdrawal period, with an acknowledgement sent to the shopper that states the date and time.

Questions about StoreCompliant for Shopify

Is StoreCompliant available for Shopify?

No. The Shopify version is in development and is not in the Shopify App Store. Nothing on this page describes something you can install today. If you want to hear when it is ready, use the “Tell me when it is ready” link.

When will it be ready?

We do not give a date, because we would rather ship it when it is finished than promise one. Email us and you will get one message when it is ready.

Can I use the Wix app on a Shopify store?

No. The Wix app works only with Wix Stores. Shopify needs its own app, built for Shopify themes and its own billing.

Do the EU rules apply to my Shopify store?

They apply to any online shop that sells to consumers in the EU or EEA, whatever platform it runs on. The guides explain each rule in plain language: the 30-day lowest price, the legal guarantee notice and the withdrawal button. StoreCompliant is a compliance aid, not legal advice.

What will it cost?

Pricing for Shopify is not set. The Wix plans are on the pricing page for reference.
